Hannah graduated from Southwest High School in 2011 and Ithaca College in 2015 with a BS in Cinema and Photography. During college she spent semesters in London and Los Angeles, and backpacked through northern Europe. Currently she is preparing to spend a year in Thailand teaching English, beginning in fall 2015. Film is her passion and she plans on moving to Los Angeles to work in the industry after her return from southeast Asia.
Welcome divides her time among her writing, travel, and Broders. She is writing a memoir, Ocean Child, about her relationship with Julia, the experience of loss, and the need to carry on. In 2013/2014, she was selected to be in the Loft Mentor Series. While continuing to travel around the U.S. and across the world, she spends time bi-annually in Tanzania, leading groups of youth and adults. The next trip is planned for spring 2016. She enjoys her work at Broders' in southwest Minneapolis.
Dan continues to work at The Minneapolis Foundation, but on a reduced schedule. He anticipates full retirement in 2016. Dan has provided much of the content for this website, and continues to study medical error and strategies to reduce it.
